KCU graduated a record 300 students from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Biosciences at our 2015 Commencement May 9 at Municipal Auditorium. An audience of more than 3,000 gathered to recognize the largest graduating class in our university's history.
Robert S. Juhasz, DO, president of the American Osteopathic Association, delivered the keynote address, which emphasized today’s changing health care landscape and the reasons osteopathic physicians are particularly well positioned to meet the increased demand for primary care. Dr. Juhasz also was presented with an honorary doctorate of humane letters, the University’s highest tribute to an individual for his or her contributions — both personal and professional — to the betterment of humanity.
