Dr. Jingsong Zhou Receives Grant to Study ALS Progression

 Jingsong Zhou, PhD, research investigator and professor of physiology at KCU; and Jun Sun, PhD, associate professor of biochemistry at Rush University Medical Center, are recipients of an ALS Association research grant to explore targeting the microbiota to alleviate the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The grant is part of The ALS Association's support of 58 new Global Research Awards totaling $11.6 million to find treatments and a cure for the disease.

KCU Honors U.S. Veterans, Accepts "Give Them 20" Challenge


Last month, hundreds of KCU students, faculty and staff gathered on the campus grounds to answer MRIGlobal's "Give Them 20" video challenge honoring today's nearly 22 million veterans of the U.S. armed forces.
