KCU Celebrates Largest Graduating Class at Centennial Commencement Ceremony

With 343 students receiving their degrees during the May 7 Centennial Commencement Ceremony at Kansas City's Municipal Auditorium, KCU celebrated its largest graduating class in history. The Class of 2016 represents the University's 100th year of graduating physicians and 11th year of graduating scientists.

During the ceremony, KCU presented an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters to two distinguished guests: commencement keynote speaker Fitzhugh Mullan, MD, Murdock Head Professor of Medicine and Health Policy, George Washington University; and Sylvester "Sly" James, Jr., Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri.
